Quantum3D Selects Lantech as Exclusive Chinese Distributor

Companies to Officially Announce Relationship during Demonstration of Independence 4000 Image Generator on February 18th in Beijing, China

SAN JOSE, CA–February 13, 2009–Quantum3D, Inc., a leading provider of Commercial-off-The- Shelf (COTS) real-time visual computing solutions, today announced that it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Lantech Engineering Limited. The agreement stipulates that Beijingbased Lantech will have sole distribution rights in the People’s Republic of China. Both companies will introduce their arrangement during an all-day exhibition at the Empark Grand Hotel in Beijing on February 18th.

The announcement expands a ten-year relationship between the two companies, during which time Lantech has distributed Quantum3D products such as the Independence line of image generators; the IData human-machine interface software toolset; the Thermite line of computers; and the Sentiris line of PMCs and XMCs. This new agreement is designed to expand the company’s business in China, making its products more broadly available for civilian aviation applications.
